Thank you all for your prayers and concerns as we work through the horrific incident that happened Wednesday afternoon.
Our priority is the safety of our students, parents and staff. We have been notified by the building and fire inspectors that we are able to reopen. Therefore, school will resume on Friday, January 19th. Due to the sensitivity of the event we will excuse all absences for those that feel they need some extra time to process.
K4 through 1st grade will have their Snow Day and 2nd – 6th grade will have their Track Meet as scheduled.
Third Street parking will be open for Upper School students and faculty ONLY. They will, however, have to enter the building through the cafeteria as the Third Street bridge and entrance will be closed.
K4/K5 students may be dropped off in the morning car line. However, afternoon dismissal will require parents to walk in the front K4 entrance for pickup.
As a reminder, professional counseling will be available on campus for students who need help in dealing with what they saw or heard in relation to the incident.
We look forward to helping our students get back into their normal school routine.
