The duo capped a successful season with state final appearances and made the All Area first team.
Andrew Mills, Evangelical Christian School, Swimming.The short distance swimmer qualified for the Class A championshipin the 100 butterfly and 100 backstroke. He was third in the 100 fly at the Region A-3 meet and sixth in the 100 back. The junior won thoseevents at the district meet.
Brendon Peacock, Evangelical Christian School, Swimming.The sophomore was a Class A qualifier in the 200 and 500 free. He finished fifth in the 200 at the Region A-3 meet and was sixth in the 500. He finished second in the 200 and third in the 500 at the district competition.
Caroline Forester and Lily Tessier made first team all area and Tessier is a player of the year finalist.
Caroline Forster, ECS, Volleyball.The 6-foot senior middle blocker notched 247 kills, 123 blocks, 20 aces and 65 digs to lead ECS to a 23-6 record and a region final berth.
Lily Tessier, ECS, Volleyball.The junior setter, a Florida State commit, was essential to ECS’ run to a 23-6 record and a region final, tallying 707 assists, 101 kills, 105 aces, 48 blocks and 208 digs.
