The two-time finalist followed up a 2016 season where she won a state championship in the 400 meters with runner-up finishes in the 200 (25.80) and 400 (56.68) at the Class A championships. She was also a part of the 1,600-relay team that took ninth at state.
The Indiana Wesleyan outdoor track and field teams combined for eight NAIA national standards and a pair of program records at the Dr. Keeler Invitational in Naperville, Illinois. Jacob Reinking in the 5,000-Meter and Sarah McBeath in the 1,500-Meter both broke school records and reach NAIA A standards to highlight the invitational for the Wildcats.
