Paula Doll

My name is Paula Doll.  I have been a First Grade teacher at ECS for 20 years.  I also served as the Kindergarten Vice-Principal for three years.  Before coming to ECS, I taught 2 years in Bonita Springs and 4 years in Illinois.  I graduated from MacMurray College in Illinois in 1982 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Education and hold a Florida teaching certificate.  I am currently working on obtaining my Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a Reading endorsement.  God called me to be a teacher when I was in 2nd grade and since then, He has given me the skills and talents needed to have a successful classroom, as well as a love for teaching.  Working with children fills my heart with joy and especially being able to teach them about God and His love is an indescribable joy!

My goals for my students this year include learning about God and developing a close relationship with Him, learning academics and enjoying learning, and having many fun and exciting adventures in First Grade.  We will learn using a variety of methods including traditional methods, hands-on activities, group work, and games.  There will be time devoted to field trips, special activities, theme days, merit activities, and class parties.  Students will receive recognition and rewards for work well done and great
behavior – prizes, awards, special events, Fantastic Friday fun, and much more.  I am looking forward to an exciting year of learning!
