Founded in 1973, Evangelical Christian School (ECS) is a Christ-centered, college preparatory, independent school serving students from Preschool through 12th grade. With nearly 1,600 students and representation from close to 100 local churches, ECS is proud to be Southwest Florida’s largest private school. Governed by an independent 11-member Board of Directors, ECS is not affiliated with any single church, allowing it to serve a diverse Christian community with unity of purpose. The school holds full accreditation through the Florida Association of Christian Colleges and Schools (FACCS), Cognia, and the Middle States Association (MSA).

ECS’s 28-acre campus is thoughtfully designed to support academic excellence, personal growth, and spiritual development. The school features large classrooms, science and technology labs, music rooms, and specialized spaces for fine and performing arts. The state-of-the-art Sentinels Sportsplex includes the largest indoor gymnasium in Lee County, turf football and soccer fields, baseball and softball stadiums, an eight-lane collegiate track, weight training and wrestling facilities, an indoor cheer gym, and custom basketball locker rooms.
