Middle School is a unique time of transition and growth as young adolescents begin their journey toward independence.Evangelical Christian School’s middle school program fosters this growth in students in grades six through eight with caring faculty, accelerated academics, extracurricular activities, instruction in God’s Word, and opportunities for leadership and character development.Teachers at ECS seek Godly wisdom as they embrace the unique opportunities God has given them in educating the whole child to allow students to grow exponentially as they begin to take responsibility for their own learning.

Students in our middle school receive an education that is filtered through a biblical worldview, equipping students to impact our culture for Christ. The curriculum reinforces the academic foundation set in elementary school and prepares students for the rigors of high school.Students in each grade level are taught Bible, Math, Science, English, Heritage Studies, and Physical Education by dedicated teachers who strive to create engaged, successful, life-long learners.Advanced Honors courses in math and science are also offered beginning in 7th grade.

To enhance the academic experience at ECS, teachers use technology throughout instruction. ECS has a 1:1 iPad program which enables students to use Nearpod, Apple Classroom, Canvas, digital curriculum materials, student collaboration tools, and individualized instruction with the goal of enhancing student learning.

In addition to building a strong academic base, students are encouraged to participate in a variety of co-curricular activities. Students are given an opportunity to be involved in sports, Fine Arts, service projects, Bible studies, and leadership opportunities such as Junior National Honor Society and student government. In addition, students will participate in monthly team building activities, weekly chapels, field trips and learn from time in the aquaponics lab on campus.
