ECS is requiring all ECS iPads to be cased in an ECS approved iPad Case.
ECS approved Case offered for the 2024-2025:
Brenthaven Edge 360 iPad Case
This is the default case that comes with the student iPad.
If you lose or break the case, it is your responsibility to pay to replace the case.
If your iPad is not in the ECS case, your coverage is void, and the student will be responsible to cover the entire cost of repair if broken or damaged.
The ECS approved iPad Case must remain on the iPad at all times, as it has been specially selected to help protect the device. Removal or alteration of the iPad case is not allowed. Students are not permitted to purchase a different case. Upon Graduation or un-enrolling from ECS, the student is required to turn-in any provided case in good, working order. If a case is returned damaged or physically altered, a fee will be assessed to the student’s account for a replacement case.
Students are responsible for ANY damage or lost parts to their case.
In the event that their assigned iPad fails electronically or is accidentally damaged, the student should bring their device to the Upper School desk to notify the Technology Department of the failure. If the device shows signs of physical damage, the ECS IT Department may require additional information from a parent or guardian before repair or troubleshooting can take place. Also, if it is proven that damage was intentionally caused, ECS reserves the right to void coverage and charge the full replacement or repair cost.
Students are responsible for the cost of ALL iPads that are damaged, lost or stolen.
If the hardware, iPad, or cover is not returned when a student graduates or un-enrolls, the student’s account will be billed accordingly and all charges would need to be cleared in order for the student’s records to be released.
Note: 75% of iPad breakage reports from other schools listed the iPad as being damaged due to being in their backpacks. Please be mindful of slinging, stepping on, or running over your backpacks with your car in order to keep your iPad safe.
