You have proven your ability to navigate the Apple Mobile Operating System (iPadOS), seen the policies pertaining to Apps and understand the role of an Apple ID. The final part of the class is to sign the iPad Agreement for your iPad. After you have completed this, your student will be able to pick up their iPad at the school.
Apple Charger
ECS is not supplying chargers for the 2024-2025 school year. You may purchase chargers from ECS for $50
Apple Pencil: Optional
For those parents that want their child to utilize an apple pencil, it is important that you purchase the Generation 1 apple pencil. The Generation 2 Apple Pencil will not work with these educational iPads.
Accidental Coverage
If a student breaks their iPad, the family is responsible for the following fee which must be paid before the iPad is repaired.
1st repair for accidental coverage: $69.00
2nd repair for accidental coverage: $69.00
3rd repair or more: $299.00 (Taking the iPad to a 3rd party repair place is prohibited, voids the warranty, costs more, and will result in complete replacement cost applied to the student’s account.)
Students are responsible for charges to the iPad case that is damaged or broken. Cases that need to be replaced due to damage – $50.
***For those inquiring, we ship the iPads to Apple for repair. Apple guarantees a 90-day warranty on any and all repairs made to the iPad.
