How to Enroll in a Dual Enrollment Course
In order to enroll in an on-site (at ECS) or online dual enrollment (DE) course with SEU:
- Get approval from the High School Assistant Principal, Kaitlyn Leach.
Sentinels wishing to take DE courses should indicate their interest on the course selection sheet given at the end of each school year or semester. If that did not happen, please reach out to the High School Assistant Principal, Kaitlyn Leach to express your interest.
- Apply to SEU (New SEU DE students only).
First-Time SEU DE Students must fill out the SEU student application by the due date given by administration. Students will not be enrolled in the class if the student application is not completed and submitted to SEU by the due date given.
Returning SEU DE students do not need to re-apply.
- Pay for your course(s) and purchase your materials.
All payments are processed through ECS (not SEU) and must be prepaid before a student will be enrolled in the course. The cost of each SEU online dual enrollment course is dependent on state funding (not including the books). On-site courses cost $100 per semester. Course costs will be added to each student’s FACTS.
Textbooks for on-site DE course can be purchased through the Christ-Centered Life Store in Fort Myers following the same textbook ordering procedures used for all ECS courses.
Textbook information for online DE courses will be available one week prior to course start dates. It is the student’s responsibility to purchase textbooks through the SEU Bookstore, Amazon, or another seller in time for the start of class. These are not available through the Christ-Centered Life Store in Fort Myers.
