MIDDLE SCHOOL

There are exciting things taking place in middle school.

Congratulations to Graham (6th grade) and Sonali (8th grade) on competing in the Lee County Championship Spelling Bee.  We are proud of their hard work as they competed for the opportunity to attend the Scripps National Spelling Bee in Washington D.C.

Congratulations to Cullen (6th grade) on being named a 2024 Recognized Carson Scholar.  Cullen was chosen for this honor because of his academic achievements and humanitarian efforts.  We are all so proud of Cullen’s hard work.

Course Selection sheets for the 2024 – 2025 school year are due back to the middle school office by Wednesday, March 13th.  All course offerings are tentative as we work through schedules for the next school year.

3rd Quarter ends this Friday, March 15th.  Report cards will be emailed home on Monday, March 25th.

Our 7th and 8th grade students will have the opportunity to serve our community at the Midwest Food Bank later this month.  We are excited for this opportunity to share God’s love with those in need.

This week is “Recharge” week for middle and high school students. Your children will be ministered to by Carl Kerby, founder of Reasons for Hope, which equips people worldwide to defend Scripture and share the only true hope, Jesus. Please be in prayer for this special time.
