Fort Myers Beach fire department is looking to help Fort Myers Beach elementary school teachers replace their classroom libraries. They are looking for books for grades kindergarten through fifth grade. As we know, being teachers and parents, there are always those books in the closets or bookshelves that have never been read. Right now, they’re looking at presenting the books to the teachers on November 18. Our pick-up day will be Tuesday, November 15th–Please drop off books to Mrs.Petrosky in the lower school.

HOMECOMING EVENTS “Roaring Twenties!”

Homecoming has been rescheduled! Homecoming week is now Nov. 7-11 with coronation being on the 11th and our homecoming banquet on the 12th. 

PICTURE RETAKES

Picture Retakes for K4 – 11th grade will be Tuesday, November 1st. Students must be in school uniform.

ATHLETICS

Boys Basketball try–outs will begin Monday, October 31st 3:30-5:30 in the gym.  All students who plan to try–out for any level of boys basketball should be at this try–out.  If you are still playing a varsity fall sport or cannot make the try–out for some reason, please contact Coach Guttery (sguttery@goecs.org) to let him know that you intend to try–out.Â
