Middle School Announcements

Middle School has had a busy week! We just finished off a great week of Stanford testing. The students were able to have fun activity breaks in between tests as well as an afternoon of team building.

This coming week we will be serving our community by going to the Harry Chapin Food Bank. Students will have an opportunity to learn about the mission, tour the warehouse, and sort and pack food for the thousands of hungry people in Lee County. What an awesome opportunity we have to be the hands and feet of Jesus!

High School Announcements

PreACT and ACT Information:
Tuesday, April 18th, is a PreACT day for all freshmen and sophomores. The PreACT is a great opportunity for our students to “practice” for the ACT. Students will gain exposure to this type of testing format while being in a comfortable environment with familiar test proctors. Test results can provide valuable information on areas to target for improvement, selecting the right high school courses, and help begin those conversations about college and career options for the future.
This same day is our ACT on a School Day for Juniors and Seniors. We have a number of students taking part in this test administration. Juniors who are not testing are excused from school and have been advised to use the day for a college visit or for serving in the community to earn required community service hours.
Junior Retreat:
Forty Juniors and several ECS staff members attended the 2023 Junior Retreat at Lake Placid this last week. Everyone enjoyed time in the Word, in worship and in the water! It was a wonderful opportunity for students to connect with each other, connect more deeply with the Lord, and to begin to prepare for being the leaders of the student body for the 2023-2024 school year. We are excited for what God has in store for this special group of young men and women here at ECS!
Save the Date – 2023 Commencement:
Graduation is just around the corner! Please plan to join us in celebrating with the Class of 2023. Commencement will be held on May 19, at First Christian Church in Fort Myers, beginning at 7PM. Seating is on a first come, first serve basis.
