Lockdown/Lockout Drills:

During the school year, in conjunction with our Student Resource Officer and Security team, we will be conducting lockdown and lockout drills in addition to fire drills. These drills are another means in which we improve the safety for our students and staff.

Lockdown (potential threat is on school grounds/building)

Lockout (the area of concern is not on school property)

ParentPulse 2nd Notice

At Evangelical Christian School, we seek to constantly evaluate our school from multiple perspectives, all in an effort to make this an even better place for your child and your family.

Because the parent perspective is so important to us, we’ve partnered with ParentPulse, a company that specializes in collecting feedback for Christian schools.

Going forward, each parent in our school will receive an invitation every few months to respond to a short survey. These surveys will be staggered – parents will receive the invitations via email or text at different times.

We simply ask that you’d take five minutes to complete the survey. Many schools only send one (longer) survey each year, but we want to capture your thoughts and feelings in shorter surveys – and at multiple points over the year – so we can understand how things are evolving and how we can best adapt!

So, please be on the lookout for an email or text from ParentPulse. The subject line will clearly identify Evangelical Christian School.

The information you provide is collected solely for our analysis, and your personal contact information will not be used or shared by ParentPulse. There is also an option at the end of the survey to submit your responses anonymously.

Thank you for partnering with us in Christian education!

This Friday is the last day to bring in book donations. Thank you for supporting our first quarter mission project. We appreciate you and your kindness.

We are now preparing for our second quarter mission project. Lower and Middle School students will be collecting Christmas Shoeboxes for Samaritan’s Purse. You may get one shoebox per family from Christ Centered or more from your family church. Here are some items to get for your shoebox: A large WOW item, like a soccer ball (with pump) or stuffed animal. Then fill with other smaller toys, hygiene items, school supplies, a personal note, and a picture of yourself.

Don’t forget to make plans to attend our annual Daddy Daughter Date Night. Please see the flyer for more information.
