Sentinel Scholars Program

The Sentinel Scholars Program at Evangelical Christian School is designed to challenge high-achieving students to excel in academics, leadership, and service. Participants are expected to demonstrate strong involvement in extracurricular activities and a commitment to serving both the ECS campus and the greater Fort Myers community.

Admission to the program requires a formal application, a personal essay, and meeting specific academic eligibility criteria.

Once accepted as a Sentinel Scholar candidate, students may pursue one of three prestigious levels of recognition:

• Cum Laude

• Magna Cum Laude

• Summa Cum Laude

Each distinction level includes increasingly rigorous academic and service-based requirements. While there are no annual check-ins, students are responsible for tracking their progress throughout high school and must submit a Senior Declaration Form in the spring of their senior year to be formally recognized at graduation.
