Music

Elementary Music (PreK–5th Grade)

Students in PreK through 5th grade enjoy a dynamic and engaging music curriculum that nurtures both skill and joy in musical expression. The program includes general singing, recorder, ukulele, bucket drumming, and music literacy, all taught with an emphasis on creativity and worship. Students are encouraged to explore the gift of music while building a foundation in rhythm, melody, and praise.

6th Grade

Students are required to take a performing arts class, and we highly encourage students to choose an instrument at this level. Research consistently shows that learning to play an instrument has a profound impact on brain development, enhancing skills such as memory, focus, and problem-solving. Students who study music often excel academically in other subject areas compared to their peers.

Our program is designed to nurture both musical growth and personal development, helping students build confidence, discipline, and creativity through the performing arts.

6th Grade Music options include choir, beginning orchestra, and beginning band.
