The Medical Science Program at Evangelical Christian School is designed for students who are curious about healthcare, passionate about serving others, and eager to challenge themselves academically. Through a combination of rigorous coursework, hands-on learning, leadership opportunities, and mentorship from experienced medical professionals, students gain an authentic introduction to careers in medicine and allied health.
Our mission is to equip students to live out their God-given calling with excellence, purpose, and conviction while developing the knowledge, character, and practical skills needed to serve others in the healthcare field.

Current Course Offerings (2026-2027)
Foundations of Medical Science
An introduction to careers in healthcare while building a strong understanding of basic medical science concepts.
First Aid and Safety
Students develop life-saving skills while earning PE/Health credit during their freshman year.
Anatomy & Physiology Honors
An in-depth study of the structure and function of the human body through advanced coursework and laboratory experiences.
Health Care Foundational Skills Lab
A hands-on course where students practice real clinical skills while gaining confidence through experiential learning.
Future Course Opportunities
As the program continues to grow, additional courses are planned, including:

Student Leadership Through HOSA
Students are encouraged to participate in HOSA – Future Health Professionals, an internationally recognized organization that prepares future healthcare leaders through education, competition, and service.
HOSA provides opportunities for students to:
