Evangelical Christian School is open to all qualified students regardless of race, color, background, or financial ability. The Admissions Committee evaluates applicants on the basis of the application, the candidate’s transcripts, teacher recommendations, character and educational recommendations, disciplinary profile, interview with the principal, and an academic assessment. In considering applicants, the committee analyzes a student’s academic strengths, talents, motivation to learn and desire to attend ECS. Due to the competitive nature of the admissions process, prospective families are encouraged to contact the school as early as possible.

Step by Step Admissions Process:


Statement of Faith Support

During the admissions process parents must sign that they support the ECS statement of faith.

We believe:

  • The Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God. (1 Thess. 2:13; 2 Tim. 3:15-17)
  • There is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Deut. 6:4; Isa. 45:5-7; Matt. 28:19; 2 Cor. 13:14)
  • In the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His death and resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return to power and glory. (Luke 1:35; Gal. 4:4-5; Heb. 4:15-16; Col. 2:9; John 10:27-30; Matt. 28:1-15; Acts 1:6-11; 1 Thess. 4:13-18; Rev. 19:11-21)
  • That for the salvation of lost and sinful man, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential. (John 3:3-8; Titus 3:5; Eph. 2:1-8; Rom. 3:23)
  • In the resurrection of both the saved and lost; those who are saved unto the resurrection of life and those who are lost unto the resurrection of damnation. (John 5:25-29; Rev. 20:13-15)
  • In the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ and that the true church, with the Lord as their Savior, is the body of Christ. (Eph. 4:4-6; Rom. 12:4-5; 1 Cor. 12:12-13)
  • In the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a Godly life. (John 14:17; 16:7; Rom. 8:9; Eph. 4:30)
  • That God wonderfully and immutably creates each person as male or female, and that these two distinct, complementary genders together reflect the image and nature of God. (Gen. 1:27; 2:23-24; Matt. 19:4-6)
  • That God created marriage to be exclusively the union of one man and one woman, and that intimate sexual activity is to occur exclusively within that union. (Matt. 19:4-6; Eph. 5:22-33; Heb. 13:4; 1 Thess. 4:3-8)

In accordance with the school’s recognition of Biblical authority, no immoral conduct will be tolerated, including identifying statements related to immoral conduct. The Bible strictly forbids immoral conduct and the advocacy for such sinful behavior (I Thess. 4:1-8; 1 Pet. 1:14). This belief is driven by Scriptural truth and will never be determined by cultural or political mandates.

Submit an Application

Document Submission and Admissions Testing

Upon completion of the application and paying the required fee, your application will be processed and the admissions department will reach out to you for document submission and academic testing. Academic testing will be scheduled depending on the status of the grade level. Wait pooled grade levels will not have academic testing scheduled until a seat becomes available. Document submission will take place immediately for open and wait pooled grades.

Admissions Decision

When an admissions file is considered to be complete, all documents submitted and academic testing has taken place, the file will go to the principal of the grade level applying for review. The admissions decision will be communicated to the applicant and information will be shared regarding the next steps for enrollment if accepted.
