Community Service

Community Service

Our students donate over 10,000 community service hours annually.

At Evangelical Christian School, we believe that true leadership begins with a servant’s heart. Community service is an essential part of our mission to develop students who not only excel academically, but who also live out their faith in action. We are committed to cultivating a culture where students are encouraged to look beyond themselves—to see the needs in the world around them and respond with compassion, purpose, and love.

Through a wide variety of service opportunities, ECS students learn that serving others is not just something we do—it’s part of who we are as followers of Christ. Whether it’s volunteering at local ministries, helping those in need, or engaging in global outreach efforts, students experience firsthand the impact they can have on the lives of others.

Our community service program is built on four core goals:

  1. To inspire students to seek out opportunities to serve—sharing the love of Jesus through meaningful acts of kindness for those in need, both locally and globally.

  2. To nurture hearts of compassion by helping students discover the joy that comes from selfless giving.

  3. To encourage a lifelong commitment to service by fostering a mindset that sees community involvement as a way of life.

  4. To support students in building verified service hours that strengthen college and scholarship applications.

At ECS, community service is not a box to check—it’s a way of life that shapes character, strengthens faith, and prepares students to lead with integrity and purpose in whatever path God calls them to.
