Evangelical Christian School students delivered an outstanding performance at the 2026 Florida Association of Christian Colleges and Schools (FACCS) Junior Fine Arts State Competition, earning multiple top-three finishes against some of the best Christian school programs across the state of Florida.
FACCS Fine Arts competitions provide students in grades 1-8 with opportunities to showcase their God-given talents in music, art, and speech while competing at the highest level among Christian schools statewide.
ECS musicians represented the school with excellence, discipline, and creativity throughout the event.
State Award Winners
6th Grade Trio — 3rd Place in State
Jessica Pike, Addie Chapman, and Abby May earned an impressive third-place finish in the state competition, showcasing exceptional teamwork and musical performance.
Middle School String Trio — 2nd Place in State
The ECS Middle School String Trio of Maliah Francillon, Kasi Cyrus, and Connor Monhollen captured second place in the state competition with an outstanding performance against elite competition from across Florida.
Middle School String Sextet — STATE CHAMPIONS
ECS celebrated a first-place state championship performance from its String Sextet:
- Christopher Doyle
- Isaac Naranjo
- Brendan Book
- Anthony DiMatteo
- Kenneth Gold
- Blake Fox
Their winning performance earned the top honor in the state and highlighted the strength and growth of the ECS fine arts program.
Orchestra — 3rd Place in State
The ECS Orchestra also earned statewide recognition, finishing third in the AA Orchestra and Band division.
These accomplishments reflect countless hours of practice, dedication, and the commitment of ECS students, directors, and families to pursuing excellence through the arts.
