Students from Evangelical Christian School delivered an incredible showing at the 2026 Florida Association of Christian Colleges and Schools (FACCS) Junior Fine Arts State Competition, earning numerous top-three finishes and multiple state championships across music, speech, drama, and visual arts categories.

The FACCS Fine Arts competition brings together talented students from Christian schools across Florida to compete in a wide range of academic and artistic disciplines. ECS students represented the school with excellence, creativity, and dedication throughout the state event.

Outstanding State Performances

Instrumental & Orchestra Awards

6th Grade Trio — 3rd Place in State

Jessica Pike, Addie Chapman, and Abby May earned an impressive third-place finish at the state level with an outstanding musical performance.

Middle School String Trio — 2nd Place in State

Maliah Francillon, Kasi Cyrus, and Connor Monhollen captured second place in the state competition with a strong performance in the String Trio category.

Middle School String Sextet — 1st Place in State

The ECS String Sextet earned a State Championship performance, taking first place in Florida:

ECS Orchestra — 3rd Place in State

The ECS Orchestra also earned statewide recognition with a third-place finish in the AA Orchestra and Band division.


Drama & Speech Awards

Duet Acting — 3rd Grade — 3rd Place

Hayden Nanfro and Elle Osborn earned third place in the state competition for their Duet Acting performance.

Duet Acting — 4th Grade — 2nd Place

Lizzy Lagergren and Audrey Rodriguez finished second in the state in the 4th Grade Duet Acting category.

Duet Acting — 5th Grade — 2nd Place

Grace Gomes and Nora McCullers earned second place in the state for the second consecutive year, continuing their impressive success in Duet Acting competition.

Poetic Interpretation — 4th Grade — 3rd Place

Reagan Roberts earned third place in the state for Poetic Interpretation.

5th Grade Readers Theater — 1st Place in State

In their first year competing in this category, the ECS 5th Grade Readers Theater team captured a State Championship with a first-place finish.

Grace Gomes earned first place in the state for the second consecutive year in Inspirational Vocal Solo competition.


Visual Arts Awards

Craft — 4th Grade — 1st Place in State

Madelyn Upchurch earned a state championship in the Craft category.

Sculpture — 4th Grade — 1st Place in State

Eva Grauer captured first place in the Sculpture category.

Watercolor — 4th Grade — 1st Place in State

Levi Hable earned first place in the state for Watercolor artwork.

Monochromatic Art — 4th Grade — 1st Place in State

Julian Vazquez earned a first-place state finish in the Monochromatic category.


These achievements reflect the tremendous hard work, preparation, and God-given talent of ECS students, teachers, directors, and families. From instrumental performances and theater productions to vocal music and visual arts, ECS students continued a tradition of excellence while representing the school with integrity and passion on the state stage.
